Celebrating International Day of Disabled Persons

Today is the United Nations International Day of Disabled Persons, proclaimed in 1992 by UN General Assembly resolution 47/3. It aims to promote the rights and well-being of persons with disabilities in all spheres of society and development.


International Day of Persons with Disabilities is celebrated on December 3rd each year to promote the rights and well-being of people with disabilities and raise awareness about their situation in all aspects of political, social, economic, and cultural life.
