So I can spell!

My son stumbled onto this video. It warmed my heart because when I was a child, I had such a hard time whet spelling! I use to stated, I font just need to buy letters and I still couldn’t get the spelling well enough to use a dictionary.

I would get confused because each letter or letter combination has at least 2 sounds in the English language. I mean the letter Q alone was confusing. I remember arguing with my parents and English teachers. I guess I could explain it to anyone that would listen. It took my until well into my working years.

Yes, I said working years! This means, post high school, college, and post graduation to embrace the rules. Even now, I struggle will vocabulary, but thankfully with today’s technology almost every device has voice recognition and gives you opens for words.

If you are confused or believe that people that can’t spell are lazy, or incompetent, watch this video, as many of the principles although might seem unoriginal, I assure you that I spells this poorly for decades, not because I was lazy or dumb, but because their were so many rules and exceptions.
