Marlee Martin inspiring story!

Was blessed to seeMarlee Beth Matlin (born August 24, 1965) is an American actress, author, and activist. She is the recipient of numerous accolades, including an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award, in addition to nominations for a BAFTA Award, and four Primetime Emmy Awards.

She brings awareness to micro aggressions and shows people that people with disabilities are just like everyone else. She grabs the entertainment industry and created a pathway highlight our voices. It is a start, and we have to continue this amazing opportunity.

Let’s change the world together. Have you asked what you can do to make a micro or macro change in the culture. Don’t assume someone is going to make things happen, be part of the collaboration and movement to “treat people like people”.

DE&I should be DE&I&A. Diversity, Equality and Inclusion and Assess.

Speak-up, Stand-up, and Collaborate

It is important to learn what you need and communicate and advocate what you need.

Being a trailblazer might be hard, but your brain, mind and spirit is you biggest strength. How you communicate can make a difference. Tact is important, but a mentor can help guide you.

Work for it, and learn how to get back-up when your down. Don’t list to “can’t”, because you can!!!! You might just zigzag through a different path to get to you goal. It is easy to say and I am not going to pretend that it hard and you need to be bold.

What is next for you!?! Stay busy, to allow negativity in the door or window!
