Kristy has various physical and hidden disabilities. Her introduction into this world was a perinatal brain injury and Cerebral Palsy. Along the way, she was diagnosed with 26 disorders. The most life threating being he Grand Mal Seizure disorder. She once allowed these disorders to define her. She was never happy, and just walked through life knowing that God wanted more for her. She believed that she was nothing more than a second class. She let people's perceptions, whispers and statements define her. The hurt, bullying and pain took years to repair.
She knows better now, and she wants to help others see it too. Today, she has a husband, kids and a rewarding life- something she never believed of having.
Her life is still challenging and the disorders are still with her but she sees herself vastly different. Using her experiences she help others both publicly and privately. She is a true inspiration.
Kristy has become an inspiration to others and a powerful motivational speaker. She holds leadership positions with employee groups and foundations. Her passion for helping others is remarkable even with her life threating disorder.
