Learn more about the world of epilepsy. Epilepsy Awareness Month occurs each November in the United States. It was formally recognized by Congress in 2003. November is National Epilepsy Awareness Month. According to the Epilepsy Foundation, 1 in 10 people will experience a seizure throughout their life, and 1 in 26 will develop epilepsy.
